Old Bay seasoning makes this simple grilled corn special and delicious.
Safflower oil, for brushing corn and greasing grill
4-6 ears corn
Plenty of salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- Preheat the grill over medium heat. When hot, brush with a vegetable oil-soaked rag (do this quickly to avoid flare-ups).
- Brush the corn lightly on all sides with more oil, and season all over generously with salt and pepper. Add to the grill, cover, and cook until tender.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together the butter and Old Bay seasoning. Brush the cooked corn with the flavored butter, and serve.
